About the Presenter
Debra Dunn's career spans over 20 years in executive level leadership roles with nonprofits and businesses. She has managed veterinary clinics, co-owned a trucking business and has held the position of executive director the Automotive Service Association, Northwest Automotive Trades Association, the Rotary Club of Portland and the Portland Charitable Trust. Most recently, Debra was president/CEO of the Oregon Trucking Associations. In 2014, Debra re-energized her consulting business in order to provide a variety of services to businesses, nonprofit organizations and government entities. She specializes in working with organizations that are facing change, challenges or looking to transform. One of the highlights of her career was in 2001 when she guided the successful merger of five nonprofit trade associations into the single Northwest Automotive Trades Association (NATA). She developed and executed a business plan that built on the strengths of each organization to form NATA. One of Debra’s primary personal goals has always been to mentor women professionals in their career development. She continues to hear from women that she mentored 20 years ago and she actively seeks out new opportunities to encourage and offer guidance to other women at any point in their careers.
