This session will provide an in-depth look at the Financial Accounting Standards Board's (FASB's) Proposed Changes to the Not-for-Profit Financial Statement Model, including specific amendments to the proposal. Other topics include the revenue recognition standard, uniform federal grant guidance, and other accounting standards updates.

About the Presenter

Gary McGee is the founder and managing director of Gary McGee & Co., an accounting firm formed in 1992 in Portland, Oregon, with a practice that focuses exclusively on accounting, audit, tax and advisory services for nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations and their donors. Gary has worked in the tax-exempt community for more than thirty years and represents a broad range of nonprofit organizations, including private foundations, charities, U.S. affiliates of foreign charities, associations, and organizations interested in public policy. Admitted to practice in the States of Oregon, Washington and New York, Gary’s firm has served more than 650 nonprofit institutions throughout the U.S. since it was founded, and currently serves some 250 nonprofit organizations as clients.
