LGBTQ survivors often face extra barriers to getting help as a result of their membership in a marginalized community. Participants in this training will learn:
– Basic definitions and new terminology
– Combatting Homophobia and Heterosexism
– Facts and statistics about LGBTQ survivors and abuse
– Information on the unique barriers LGBTQ survivors face
