About this event
This event is provided by Salem Art Association
Yuji Hiratsuka, an internationally recognized printmaker, will speak about a decades-long practice, which will be showcased in his first ever retrospective, 38 Years, opening on January 15 at the Bush Barn Art Center. Hiratsuka, in addition to being a prolific artist, is a professor at Oregon State University where he enjoys sharing his knowledge and guiding the next generation of printmakers. This is one of two chances to hear the artist
speak about his work: on January 15 at 6 pm, Hiratsuka will be joined by
Kathryn Cellerini Moore, Guest Curator, for a lecture coinciding with the
opening of 38 Years.
