With increasing demands on our time and resources, it becomes next to impossible to achieve all we set out to do without the help and assistance of others. Getting that help, however, generally involves letting other people know that assistance is needed, and then delegating the task or tasks to them. Delegation is not confined to people over whom we have direct authority. We’ve got to determine the best way to handle a project or a task, and then discover the best way to solicit help from others when and where we need it. As a small business we have to ask others to do things for us if we want to succeed.
