C.J. McPhail, Director of Development, Jackson County, Asante Foundation

Public speaking remains one of America’s greatest fears. What if you could be one of the few who leverage your story to raise more money and change your community? Story is key. You and your organization have fantastic stories that need to be told. Unfortunately, nonprofit leaders tend to focus more on facts, stats and details that are difficult to remember and rarely connect with an audience. It’s time to change. This session will teach you how to identify, write and present story in a way that will move your audience to action and help them never forget the power of your organization.

In this session, you will learn:

  • The 6 most powerful words in leadership that will change how the community views your organization
  • How to raise significantly more money through your story
  • The 3 secrets of the world’s highest paid professional speakers
  • How to look forward to and seek out speaking opportunities
