About the Presenter

Kevin Pendergast brings over 25 years of building authentic fundraising relationships to The O’Riley Institute. After graduating from Lewis & Clark College, Kevin later received his MBA from the University of Oregon. Following a career in banking and as a stockbroker, Kevin ventured into the nonprofit world as Director of Planned Giving and Lewis & Clark College. Before establishing the O’Riley Institute, he was Vice President of Development at Cottage Grove Community Hospital and Director of Development for the University of Portland. In 1997, Kevin began a career in fundraising consulting, where he has since assisted hospitals, youth groups, arts organizations and educational institutions. Kevin’s most treasured relationship is with his daughter Riley, for whom the O’Riley Institute is named.
