Presenter

Alanna Hein, Owner, Hein Consulting Group

In order to move towards equity at work, we need to create an environment where people feel supported and empowered. Allies are an important part of this process. When we as allies clearly understand how to act and take effective action, organizations are able to successfully transform their climate and support equity and inclusion efforts. Everyone can be an ally.

This workshop will focus on practical interventions and strategies for allies to use in a variety of organizational settings. For example when inappropriate behavior or comments are made, identifying policies and procedures that have exclusionary effects, and building a culture that is deeply inclusive.
