Event Description

The operating environment for Oregon’s nonprofit sector is shifting. Nonprofit organizations are currently grappling with the impact of a changing economy, increasing demand for services, and different possibilities for constituent engagement presented by new technologies. Nonprofit leaders are being asked to manage greater complexity in their organizations, and they are being asked to do so often with fewer resources. In this “new normal” effective and adaptive leadership is essential to nonprofit success.

Senior Consultant Cliff Jones will facilitate a dynamic panel discussion on leadership challenges for nonprofit administrators in the current economic environment. Together we will explore:

  • How to adapt leadership styles to changing times
  • Fostering long-term vision while managing crises
  • Strategies for maintaining staff morale
  • Mobilizing your constituents
