Portland

About this event

Ron Frey, President
Frey Resource Group

Whether you are a seasoned development professional or just getting started in a fundraising career, this workshop will help you gain mastery of the timeless and universal principles that guide all aspects of donor relations and which guarantee success. Participants will learn and apply the “Lifetime Donor Model” as the means by which constituent relationships are planned, monitored, and nurtured for a life-long relationship with the organization. Learners will develop an annual relationship management plan, as well as skills in appointment setting, cultivation, making “the ask,” gathering referrals, and engaging major donors as volunteers to involve others in the cause.

This workshop will explore the five key areas where nonprofits must create breakthroughs in today’s highly competitive marketplace.

You will learn:

  • Essential ingredients of a powerful and engaging nonprofit brand
  • Proven strategies to find and engage new donors
  • Reasons major donor fundraising is changing and what to do to get on the forward edge of the curve
  • Momentum-building for income growth through innovation and creativity
  • Important strategic planning questions to ask and answer to achieve growth
  • Key performance indicators that drive development strategy and decision making
