Bend Sunrise Lions Club is proud to sponsor the 45th Annual Demolition Derby! In celebration of 45 years of the Demo Derby we have invited the band Long Tall Eddy to participate in the fun. Each year more than 3000 spectators come to watch the competition! Last car standing wins! Proceeds from the Demolition Derby fund the work of the Bend Sunrise Lions in Central Oregon. Programs include sight and hearing screenings for children, eye exams and purchase of glasses for low income individuals, Flags for First Graders programs. Additionally the Bend Sunrise Lions Club supports many local non-profit organizations including Volunteers in Medicine, SMART–Start
Making A Reader Today and scholarships for Central Oregon Community College Students.
