Big Brothers Big Sisters of Deschutes County will be holding its annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake event on May 2nd at the Sun Mountain Fun Center complete with pizza, prizes, bowling, brews and fun!
The event on May 2nd is to celebrate all of the funds raised by teams leading up to the event. The community, businesses and organization of Deschutes County are asked to join together with friends, family, colleagues, and co-workers to form bowling teams of 4-6 people. Each team will be asked to raise money through the BBBS easy online website for their team. Donations to teams can come from any source around the world and be as small as $1. With our online tools and resources, raising money for charity has never been simpler. Bowlers may also choose to collect donations through offline means by collecting checks or cash and bringing them to the event. All of the funds raised will go to support children in Deschutes County.
Our goal is to raise $35,000 through this event. We have corporate team sponsorships available as well. Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers and team. With over 30 children on our wait list, this event will go to help match those children with caring adult mentors.
