1. gain theoretical and practical understanding of oppressions and their basis in power and control
2. differentiate between interpersonal and institutional expressions of oppression
3.understand how impacts of oppression present barriers for survivors of domestic violence and other groups
4. practice skills to interrupt harmful words/behaviors
