About the Presenter
Sharon Bosserman-Benson is a member of the fundraising team at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. During her ten years on staff, she has directed the institution’s annual fund, alumni program, alumni capital campaign, and now its planned giving effort. Her work with donors contributes to the $8 million annually raised by the College.
As a fundraising trainer and coach, Sharon has worked with more than 100 nonprofits, primarily in Oregon. She models mission-driven fund development that connects people who need help with people who want to help. For four years, Sharon was the lead trainer for Portland area nonprofits who competed to participate in a 10-month fundraising training series co-sponsored by the United Way and the Nonprofit Association of Oregon.
